Hi there,
Our OneStepCheckout extension for Magento has been updated to support Magento latest security Patch SUPEE-9767 version 2.
What is SUPEE-9767?
On July 12, 2017 Magento released a security Patch called SUPEE-9767 version 2. Its objective is to solve security issues. Where it impacts Checkout is new feature added to optionally enable form keys in default checkout.
Checkout is the most critical part of your online business. We take the safety of your online store and your customers seriously. As such, we released a new version of OneStepCheckout for Magento 1, version 4.5.8. It allows you to use form keys in OneStepCheckout also when default checkout form keys feature is enabled.
How do I update OneStepCheckout to support SUPEE-9767?
Please do not make modifications directly on live site. Test out on test site first. You can install the SUPEE-9767 patch first and OneStepCheckout will continue working without issues but formkey check is not performed.
You can then upgrade the whole package to 4.5.8 (includes formkey check)
Too customized to upgrade the whole package? You can keep the current package and apply gist patch from Gist diff: https://gist.github.com/madismanni/72e17326cb4829a949a5dfaf26a3484a/revisions
How do I upgrade the whole package to OneStepCheckout v4.5.8
Simply login to your OneStepCheckout and you should be able to download it.
Here is our changelog so you know what’s better in our latest version vs your current version.
Don’t see the latest version in your account?
If you can’t see v4.5.8 available for download in your account it’s because your Support and Update Plan has expired. You can renew it directly in your OneStepCheckout account.
